Erasmus+ mobility with full support in Portugal.

At MOVEdu, we create tailor-made programmes for European vocational education students, combining practical learning, cultural integration and ongoing support throughout their stay.

About Us

Personal support, rigour and an international outlook.

Based in Coimbra and founded in 2026, our company is dedicated to organising and coordinating Erasmus+ mobility programmes and curricular internships for European vocational education students in Portugal.

We work in partnership with schools, institutions and companies to provide enriching international experiences, combining practical learning, personal development and cultural integration. Our mobility programmes take place mainly in central Portugal, including Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Leiria and Marinha Grande.

Our goal is to ensure a complete and smooth experience for every participant. From accommodation and local transport to internship support, mentoring and cultural activities, we provide ongoing assistance throughout the stay.

We believe international mobility is a unique opportunity to learn, grow and build connections between different cultures and professional realities.

Introduction

A professional experience that also transforms people.

Doing an internship abroad is much more than a professional experience: it is an opportunity for personal growth, skills development and contact with new cultures. Along the way, students improve their language skills, gain independence and become more fully prepared for the labour market.

At MOVEdu, we create programmes tailored to each educational institution and adapted to each student's profile and goals, ensuring an enriching, current international experience aligned with the demands of the professional world.

What we do

Services designed to simplify every stage of mobility.

Accommodation

MOVEdu arranges accommodation for students and participants in international mobility programmes, ensuring comfortable, safe solutions adapted to different needs.

We work with a network of trusted local partners to provide stays in apartments, hostels or hotels, always focused on quality, well-being and proximity to internship or training locations.

Transport

At MOVEdu, we provide travel support from day one, organising airport transfers both on arrival and on students' departure.

Throughout the international experience, we also provide mobility solutions adapted to each need. For internships farther away, we provide public transport passes and, whenever necessary, organise private transfers for travel between cities or longer-distance routes, ensuring greater comfort and peace of mind throughout the stay.

Support

At MOVEdu, we support students throughout the entire Erasmus+ experience, from arrival to the end of the mobility period.

During the mobility period, we hold a welcome session introducing the city, its cultural dimension and the main aspects of day-to-day life, including rules, transport and useful tips for better integration. We also introduce the student to the internship placement and its working environment.

Throughout the stay, we provide close support, ensuring continuous assistance and a smooth, enriching experience.

Destinations

Four cities, many learning opportunities.

01

Coimbra

Coimbra is a city of contrasts that brings together history and innovation on the banks of the Mondego. Culturally, it stands out for its centuries-old University, listed by UNESCO, and for Fado de Coimbra, an intellectual academic tradition sung by students. In gastronomy, its icons include chanfana, cooked in black clay, and convent sweets such as pastéis de Santa Clara.

As the capital of the Centro region, the city is an Iberian benchmark in healthcare services through its university hospitals, and in technology, driven by research and startups linked to academia. Central and well connected to the Lisbon-Porto corridor, Coimbra combines the charm of the historic downtown shops with new leisure infrastructure and the modernisation of its transport system through MetroBus.

02

Figueira da Foz

Figueira da Foz is a vibrant coastal city where the mouth of the Mondego River meets the Atlantic. Culturally, it stands out for its maritime heritage and Belle Époque legacy, visible in the iconic Casino da Figueira and Palácio Sotto Maior. In gastronomy, fresh fish, caldeiradas and the famous brisas do Mondego dominate the table.

As a regional hub, its services are rooted in the naval and pulp and paper industries, as well as a strong tourism sector. Its urban offer is marked by vast fine-sand beaches, surf, including the legendary Buarcos wave, and cultural dynamism that attracts thousands of visitors during the summer.

03

Marinha Grande

Marinha Grande is the industrial heart of the region, deeply shaped by the Pinhal de Leiria. Culturally, its identity is linked to the glass industry, driven by Guilherme Stephens in the 18th century, a living heritage that can be explored at the Glass Museum. In gastronomy, traditional Beira Litoral dishes, sopa de vidreiro and local sweets stand out.

As an economic hub, its services are highly specialised in the moulds and plastics sector, making it a global technological reference in this field. Its territory combines strong industrial dynamism with nature tourism, with Praia da Vieira and São Pedro de Moel as coastal retreats of great beauty.

04

Leiria

Leiria is a district capital that harmoniously brings together medieval heritage and modern entrepreneurship. Culturally, its greatest symbol is the imposing Leiria Castle, but the city also vibrates with literature, having inspired Eça de Queirós, and with a very active contemporary arts scene. In gastronomy, the highlights are Leitão da Boa Vista, arroz de morcela and the sweet Brisas do Lis.

As a major service hub, it stands out in higher education through its Polytechnic Institute, and in the strong business fabric that supports the region. Its urban offer stands out for the regenerated banks of the Lis River, cycle paths, lively commerce and excellent central quality of life.
